Erin Farrell Talbot
Erin Farrell Talbot has over 25 years of public relations and writing experience with firms ranging from startups to Fortune 100 companies. Having held key roles in corporate communications departments and public relations agencies, she has developed keen insights and perspectives as a communications and media relations strategist.
During her career, Erin has implemented multifaceted campaigns for clients across the technology sector -- from the supply chain and global operations to cannabis and the oil and gas industry. She has worked in the corporate, public affairs, and sports marketing sectors, each with a focus on delivering a strong voice and clear vision to stakeholders. She continues to implement programs that address these needs for clients all over the world. She has a keen understanding of what makes a good news story, and how to implement communications programs that will resonate.
Erin started Farrell Talbot Consulting in February 2008 to work with companies of various sizes and implement strategic executive communications programs, corporate and trade media initiatives, crisis communications plans, sales and partner conference presentations, messaging and social media campaigns.
Erin has held roles at some of the most prestigious PR firms in the world, including Edelman, Weber Shandwick Worldwide, Porter Novelli and Text 100, as well as some smaller boutique agencies, which help startup companies in various stages of funding.
In the course of her tenure, Erin has lived in five different cities: Boston, San Francisco, New York and opened new agency offices in Houston and Atlanta. She has specialized in leading teams for bluechip clients.
Before starting Farrell Talbot Consulting, Erin was SVP at Edelman and senior director of worldwide corporate communications at Symbol Technologies. Erin started her career as a journalist, She has written two children's books, is a Six Sigma blackbelt, has run seven marathons and several triathalons and lives in NYC with her family.

She specifically has developed a niche in global operations having consulted for NCR’s Global Operations executive leadership team and NCR’s CEO for over a decade. She has worked with many ERP companies, GEP, QAD, Redzone, Nulogy, PDI, IFS and CEBOs. Her focus is on the supply chain, manufacturing, global operations, procurement, ERP, quality, logistics, inventory management, EAM and sourcing.
